The CyberFox Team trains and deploys teams of volunteers to conduct Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) for the betterment of society. These deployments are typically in support of Counter Human Trafficking operations, aiding in the identification and recovery of missing and exploited persons, and supporting Law Enforcement operations across the United States.
Since deployments are focused on the identification and exploitation of real-world threats, anonymity and protection are paramount.
During the "Fortify" phase, volunteers are trained in the use and deployment of Virtual Machines and Sock Puppet accounts to conduct their operations in a safe and ethical manner.
Once volunteers are safely fortified, it is time to equip them with the skills needed for the hunt.
Once volunteers are safely fortified, it is time to equip them with the skills needed for the hunt.
During the "Scouting" phase, volunteers are trained in basic OSINT skills such as Google dorking, reverse image, phone, and email searching, discerning evidence from conjecture, investigative techniques, and recording path of discovery.
Depending on the deployment, volunteers may also be trained on signs and indicators of human trafficking, exploitation, and other manipulation strategies used by the various criminal elements.
The Fox Hunt is a two-day deployment in support of a live operation.
During this time, the teams will deploy to various locations and be asked to utilize the skills they have gathered over the previous phases to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
Choosing to be called a Hunter is the most challenging position within the CyberFox OSINT Team. Hunters are required to be intimately involved will all aspects of the Fox Hunt. Often this means exposing themselves to explicit and mentally taxing content in the deepest parts of the internet. Hunters are also challenged to be proficient in all the following:
The use and deployment of Virtual Machines
The ethical creation, use, and aging of Sock Puppets
OSINT Investigative Techniques
Social Media Intelligence
Reverse Phone Number Searching
Reverse Image Searching
Email Address Research
Researching Criminal Records
Google Dorking
Recording Path of Discovery
Reporting Findings for Law Enforcement
Since CyberFox OSINT Team deployments often require investigators to review explicit and mentally taxing information, we have developed the "Specialist" title. For those who wish to avoid this content but still wish to make an impact (or Hunters who need a break) the Specialist might be the correct classification. Specialists are challenged to be proficient in one or all of the following:
Reverse Phone Number Searching
Email Address Research
Researching Criminal Records
Tracking Case Progression
Facility Setup/Modification
Quality Assurance
Ethical Adherence
Element Liaison
Technical Assistance
Deployments take their toll no matter the role. The CyberFox Team understands the importance of mental and spiritual healing which is why we have created the Healers classification. Healers are asked to support operations to ensure the monitoring and wellbeing of all involved. We ask that Healers have a background in, but are not limited to, any of the following:
Clinical Counseling
Certified Clergy
Trauma Counseling
Grief Counseling
Hypnotherapy
Occupational Therapy
Healers are not required to be present throughout the event but will be considered "on call" for those in need and are always welcome to attend.
No operation or deployment is possible without Support personnel. These individuals are key to mission success and are considered key members of our Team. We are constantly recruiting Support personnel or companies who can assist with any of the following:
Funding
Equipment
Facilities
Training
Premium Tools
Food
SWAG
